Has anyone seen a torqueing sequence for the crankcase....

for all the OTHER bolts beside the ones around the crankshaft? No mention in any of my manuals. What would you engine gurus say is the proper sequence in lieu of any "official" method? Start towards the middle and work outwards trying to hit opposites? Do we have a general concensus?
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

I have never seen one as well. Good point.

As a matter of elegance, I would start, looking at the bottom of the engine;  with the front row of 6mm bolts; center -left, rt,left, rt . Then right behind the mains and work down the center and lft/rt  to the back. Then flip it over and finish up.

Truthfully I doubt it matters. But I'd been schooled to start in the center and work to the edges, as you mentioned, like rolling dough.

Cant remember using any sequence just went round em and after tightening put a chalk mark on so i knew which ones i'd done
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!
