Sounds like it's the cops looking out for their buddy (by not giving a breathalyzer test on the scene).  I guess that's human nature to look out for your own, but it doesn't make us guys looking in from the outside feel very good.    >:(

What's worse is that at first they placed the bikers at fault for the accident... then all of the witnesses spoke up and confirmed that the bikers did nothing wrong.

This event has made a lot of the community here in Indianapolis upset.  Especially since this officer had a history of reckless driving.

Its just the DUI that was dropped. There's still 3 felonies against him including reckless homicide. And undoubtedly a civil case as well.

In a round a bout way, dropping the DUI points to the departments mishandling of the affair and could prove beneficial in the long run.

Hows that for rose colored glasses?  :(
