Man, could that have come off any better? Only if we'd all been on SOHC/4s! But 3 was pretty good. I ended up near 300 miles. Same for Jay and Chris, and Joe and Rose I'll bet. Mark and Shay did near 500! Really nice pics, especially at the 3 CBs at the historic Story Inn. Here's mine.

Mark and Shay passed us soon going the other way, turned around and hooked up with us, 6 in all. Made our way down the route. Beautiful weather and scenery, morning light thru the canopy was like riding thru a strobe light. Every one liked Salt Creek Road, one of my favorites, I've got many more. Soon we were going down 135 and stopped at the Historic Story Inn. In the pioneer days, Story was the midway point between the Ohio River and Indianapolis on the wagon trail now known as Hwy 135. The Inn was the general store, now its a gourmet restaurant with outdoor cafe. And the upstairs, now a bed and breakfast, was the Studebaker factory and repair shop for wagons and early cars. Fitting to have our "historic" CBs parked in front with the vintage gas pumps.

We proceeded South, Hiway 135 lived up to its reputation. At Freetown we turned West on 58, coming soon to the 58 Cafe. Its a local cafe started in 2006, servicing locals during the week and motorcyclists on the weekend. Notice the posters on the walls.

After an early lunch, we carried on. On 450 was the Williams Covered Bridge. See Chris's link for info.

That's at about the halfway point, and I didn't take any more pictures, but we had a great time, no problems, best of times!
You never know how these things might go, but from my perspective, we'd hardly ever even met except for on the forum, and it seemed like we'd been riding together for years.
