Daiichi points
« on: October 20, 2010, 08:54:58 PM »
I raised this question within another post recently & didn't get any response.
I've read plenty on here about these points, but I see there's a complete points plate assembly from Daiichi for not a lot of money.
I'm just wondering if all of the discussed geometry problems disappear when they're on their on their own plate? Anyone using this plate?

Hi.
I for one bought the Daiichi points on their own plate ("at a reasonable price" from a seller on Ebay) and I was never able to set the points properly.

Thanks 'daddy'. I'm thinking electronic will be the way to go, but there's stories here about guys with Dyna kits that can't time 2&3 properly either.
Maybe Hondaman's kit with genuine points in place is the answer.
Cheers.
