There is the latin motto: "Requiescat in pace". Rest in peace. Even for the worst of the enemies, the most dishounourable -if the word exists- thing to do is not to respect the dead.
This saturday will be 2 years since the tragic bombing in the Madrid trains. Following the investigations, a couple of weeks later a cell was discovered in one of the Madrid suburban cities. The terrorists decided to kill themselves before getting caught. One of the swat agents was killed on the blast.
One week after his burial -he was put on a niche-, somebody took out his rotting corpse, destroyed it with a shovel, poured some gasoline and set it on fire. He was just a policeman who died in service. Could you imagine how his family would have felt? Fanatics are a plague, they are so blind there's not "way too far" for them. Seems it was an act of revenge because the remains fo the suicidal terrorist were in the morgue and haven't been buried according to the muslim religion.
What makes you think is that the people who did that to the policeman was, if not terrorist, very close to them, and are at large. Furthermore, if you want your fellow's bodies, why don't you go to the morgue to claim them? You can guess why...
Tell you what, if I'm mourning a relative and those bastards come my way to protest, I don't know how would I react.
