Back in May I got a call for a guy, who got my number from one of the local shops, asking if I wanted to buy a CB750 that had been sitting outside for 10 years. Being unemployed at the time and having nine other bikes in the garage, i wasn't too excited to go look at it. He called me back the next day and said he really needed it gone from his yard. I agreed to go take a look that night thinking the worst. When I got there I was surprised to see it wasn't in too bad of shape. He explained how he would kick over the engine every couple of months and wash it every year since his kid liked to play and draw on it.
Came down to the price and he said $50 with a clean title, inside the tank is old gas but no rust, no dents, just the seat really showing any signs of damage.
As you can see I took it home that night where it sat in my back yard until today. I took off the wind jammer and sissy bar. Looked over a few things, drained the gas from the carbs. Cranks over good with no spark. Guess I will play with that later after I make some room in the shop. But for now it at least looks cool again. (except for the crash bar)
