'71 CB750K1 - Euro style Tommaselli handlebars
« on: September 09, 2010, 09:33:54 AM »
Greetings all,

I am looking for Euro-style handlebars for my US market '71 CB750K1.  I find the stock US-spec handlebars too high and too wide for comfort.

Tommaselli have these handlebars which they claim are for what they call a "Honda 750 CB":

The part no. is 0191.31.60.04.

Has anyone tried them on a SOHC 750K?  They look correct to me in the photo - more correct than any other set I've seen in photos - and the dimensions on the web page look right too.

I tried contacting the Italians by email, they emailed a very short reply back saying "please contact one of our retailers"  - not much help, I don't think there are any in my country (I am in Cyprus in the Mediterranean).  I'd appreciate any forum member's help in getting a pair of these.

Best regards to all,

George

I'm using a set of stock V-Max bars. $36.- brand new. Maybe half of that if you buy them on ebay. They look a lot like the picture you posted.
I did change the clutch cable to the sortest version though. Almost forgot, mine is a K8.
Perfect fit, great riding position for my old aging back.

I have mounted this Tommaselli on my Dutch CB750K2, which has the same handlebar as the European K1. It fits good and has the holes for the wires of the switches:

On my 750 I use "superbike" handle bars, which seem to look exactly like the ones you are looking at sans the knurling. I drilled them my self, i think its worth the clean look and the riding position is perfect.
