Buses    $8 a week is better than $6 and you get a greener foot print into the bargain.

i figured. i guess what i really wanted to know is, are these buses so fragile that they need a fulltime welder to keep them together?

Not fragile really, it's just that stuff falls off them all the time. As long as you keep welding it back on they are very reliable.

Our top welders get almost $40 an hour. They have to be federally certified, it is a very good trade and not evryone can truly weld. I assume Busses are regulated also under DOT so it is not the Orange County Choppers leverl of welding.

Sorry, production welders are really talented. They have to read drawings and fab up parts, it is a real skill. None of this put you hand over your face Orange County Chopper stuff.
