My Latest Bike
« on: January 23, 2009, 10:25:46 PM »
Yup, a two stroker. Plated, but not so street legal.
It will be more street legal when I'm done. And then probably up for sale.
See anything unusual?

OK, its a '82 TZ 250 (water cooled originally) with a street RD 400 air cooled motor in it.  ;D
I call it the Mongrel...
I just picked it up that way.
And yes, all clearances are tight!  :o

Don't street it, get out there and vintage race it. Killer bike man. If I knew the first thing about a two smoker I would have an RD/RZ in the garage. I am just a 4 cycle person I guess, those 2 cycles just have a whole different learning curve.

I missed this one first time round in 2009, strange how it's popped up here again after I found it on a two stroke forum a few days ago and posted it in the inspiration gallery.  :-\

Great looking bike. 2strokers can be fun and the plus side to them is they're simple to work on. No valve adjustments.
