My old Z1
« on: February 26, 2006, 05:43:50 AM »
My 'adrenaline rush' bike is a heavily modified 1973 Z1 that's turbocharged.  Raked slightly, 2" over box swingarm, ELR shocks, modified oil pan/oil pump, Dyna 2000 Ignition, welded crank, 1200cc with turbo pistons, 42mm Mikuni flatslide carb, aluminum rims with stainless steel spokes.

  Jeff,
That's one tough looking and obviously running machine!  Good Job!

Oh wow, that is one hell of a bike you got there, those devils were fast! Was looking at another turbo bike recently (1983 Yamaha 650 Seca Turbo).

Your bike looks amazing!

Sleepy - yes, I go down to the log cabin 3-4 times a year - there are a few vintage bikes that make it each Wednesday in the summer - there was a nice CB750 with 4-4 pipes and original gold paint a couple of times last year, plus some othe vintage Japanese bikes
