So close to starting this thing. Just needs gas and my Anti-Pod from TinTop.

Larry did a great job on the paint. It looks better in person. Pictures just don't do it justice.

Wow..you didn't waste any time getting that baby back together!  Looks fantastic, Branden.  The chrome pipe is just the subtle bling it needs...now if I could only convince you to put a black front fender on it to protect it all... ;)

Heck no I was so excited to put it all together there is no way I was gonna wait! I do have a small black fender I may put it on just to see what it looks like.... I didn't even want to touch the paint let alone have a rock hit it.

I took a stock CB chrome front fender and cut it in 4 places to scale it down for my XL250.  I cut both sides in front of and behind the fender mounts, taking 4 inches from the front and 2 inches from the back, then welded it back together again.  I also brought it closer to the tire.  It turned out really nice and doesn't require the braces anymore.  If the same were done to yours and painted black, it would almost blend into the tire unnoticed.

Well I finally got her on the road. I have had a few issues to work out and now its running great. As of today I have about 90 miles on it. I managed to take a few pictures. I won't dare say its "done" but for now she is road worthy. I have already started collecting parts to swap over to laced wheels. I would have never been able to get this far this fast without the help of this forum and the people I have met because of it. Big shout out and thanks to Tige aka "tweakin", Larry aka "nvr2old" at www.meticulouspaint.com , Brendan "Hednut" for the guage decal design and frame kit, Hondaman, Mreick, Ken and Jake at Cycle X, Dynoman, Ebay, and anyone else that sold me parts or answered my HUNDREDS of newb questions.

Beautiful work - is the gold Honda wing a decal?  If yes, can you let me know where you got it?

I had to have them custom made but it was not a hassle. They can make pretty much anything you need.

That's absolutely the most beautiful 750F I think I've ever seen, Branden.  So nicely detailed.  I really like the addition of the front fender.  It gives it a real finished look.  The whole bike looks completely thought out.  Personally, I think the Comstars belong there.  The spokes will look good, too..but those wheels look great just the way they are.  Thanks also for allowing me to be a part of it.   ;)
