HUGE HUGE antique bike swap meet. Alot older BSA, Indian and British parts but u can find some jap parts and usually there sohc4 parts / bikes

Most likely you will find your special part here or at least meet some people who will direct you where to find it. Visitors report the Chief Blackhawk Meet is one of the largest Antique Swap Meets in the USA!"

Thursday: swap meet starts
Friday: night bike racing on the 1/2 mile dirt track 6:30pm
Sat: night 7pm dinner after dinner speaker  T.C. Christenson
Sun: judging then pretty much everyone packs up that day

It's that time again!   Only the 2nd (today) - the 5th      The 5th (Sun) is mainly judging and packing up.  Its well worth the trip! It's Huge!

Just got home from Davenport..........bigger show and swap than ever!  I counted five CB750s with original pipes offered for sale.  Nice looking K6 sold for $1700 with solid pipes but faded paint. A non-stock repainted K1 was asking $2500.  A brown K2 in completely original condition was asking $3000.  One very clean and complete sandcast motor was offered for $3000

A few wheels, tanks and a complete set of CB550 pipes in nice shape were observed. Overall, a huge increase in the amount of Japanese bikes and parts offered for sale. I bought 3 DID cam chains for very small money. The vintage flat-track races were great.  I HONDA CL72 ridden by Jerry Cheney (Cheney Racing) took the checkered flag in the 250-360 class.

Was the one that went for 1700 the red one? And was the brown the one with the green Honda tank badge? I missed that sandcast motor where was that?

I agree there was more jap parts then the years past. Did get to see the two Suzuki RE5's (rotaries) in the back? Those where neat and they were in good shape I think he wanted 4000 for one of them.

I entered the 750 & 350 in the AMCA judging I didn't expect to do well, but did real well, the 750 got 95¼ points and the 350 93¼ points out of 100 possible points. Both won junior first place!
