Topic: There has to be an easy way...(Exhaust removal)

So I finally got to get out and continue the disassembly of my 74 cb750 today, and things just weren't going my way...everything from missing/lost tools, to tripping over things, etc....

Anyway, The bike has a 4-2 exhaust...the exhaust on the right side of the bike came off no problem, however, I'm having trouble with the left hand side...Am I missing something completely obvious (i'm sure that I am...)? Do I need to remove the kickstand in order to get it off? Do I need to remove the muffler prior to taking it of (right side came off as a single unit no problem)..? The exhaust is completely free, however, it seems like its getting hung up on the kickstand...however, it doesn't seem logical that I'd have to remove the kickstand to remove the exhaust..(I could be very wrong though!)

Help a total newbie out!

 Not sure which 4-2 you have there.. there is  a few versions out there. A lot of folks on here have not had  any experience with 4-2s.

 Kickstand could easily be in the way, and might have to come off.
