Anyone know how the speedometer gearbox (I may mean drive gear here) fits properly into the housing (or have pictures of the inside of both? It should lock in, right?
Mine moves freely when I disconnect the cable, loosen the axle and brake caliper bolts.
How does the mechanism spin the cable? There seem to be at least two slightly raised areas inside the housing that must line up with those in the gearbox.
I can't see inside that piece without pulling off the tire, but I suppose mine could be worn down.
