From right to left: Switch side, gear/brake
« on: September 15, 2010, 03:02:48 AM »
Hello Racers

Starting to build on my rolling chassi (cb550 BE)

-I remember the problems with the gear changes (for me anyway) (mostly down gearing)
(offcause it help with a close racing gearing -but what have to wait)

On my street bike (BSA B50) the gearchanges is in the right side.
Does any out there have any pic. of switching side, Brake/Gear ?

Peter

Peter,

The CR750 has a gear linkage system which does the job.
Unfortunately no such kit's are available as I understood except for the one shown below. But it is from Daytona70.com in France and all over there are terrible stories about this man.

Thanks NapoleonB

-I just donĀ“t understand the last 2 pic. (with the sprocket)
Why is there a double function gear pedal ?

Now I'm gonna look for parts....

Any idea off where to bye the "ball head" bearings in alloy ?
