Over oiled K&N's?

If you over-oil your K&N filters, What should you do? Anything short of cleaning completely and re-applying? What are the effects of running with slightly over-saturated pods? Thanks!

Clean them and reoil them. I like the sqeeze bottle as you can control the flow. Lightly oil along each fold top and let it penetrate....it will spread out.

That's what I thought, thanks. I do have the squeeze packets. Should I clean with kerosene, gasoline, etc?

I have cleaned mine with some mild spray on engine degreaser, rinsed them with the hose, given them a good shake and let the dry well in the sun and breeze.

I have used the the K&N Cleaner and Waterless Hand Cleaner (NO PUMICE!!) Goop etc. The hand cleaner is cheap. Do not use any solvents/fuels etc. Let them air dry....do not use a hair dryer or throw them in the dryer (I've seen it)
