Another Project Done
« on: September 14, 2010, 07:40:31 PM »
Tonight I finally got to do a shake down ride on my latest project.  All went well, and I think it will prove to be a good everyday bike for me.  It has been a couple of months in the making, but i think it came out well.  Eventually I will tear it down for complete repaint and overhaul, but for right now I just want to ride. ;)

Here it is a 71 CL 350.

Yup.  So long as it proves it self through the next few weeks, it will be my ride to Barber this year.  I'm actually really suprised by it, it's really nimble and pretty quick for what it is.  It should also prove useful for taking my license skills test on.

Nothing wrong with a 350, I got busted road testing one on the rim road around Kitchener Ont and the cop said that I was pulling away from him at 80+ Mph only thing that I had against them was the carb diaphragms used to perforate and they cost a lot.

I agree.  It has actually been a fun little ride so far.  I had a small glitch yesterday, but it seems to have worked it self out.  With a little luck I hope to make it my commuter bike.  It's a lot easier to get around the my 750 chop.
