Need help Identifying this headlight
« on: September 14, 2010, 11:35:47 PM »
Hi my original headlight burned out a while ago. So I replaced it with the 7 inch sealed beam that was in the Vetter faring that was once on the 350. Long story short I had  the bikes judged at the  AMCA judging here in town at the Blackhawk swap meet. Got docked a point for not having the Stanley headlight.  The judge was interested in the headlight thought he said it was a old school Harley headlight and wanted to buy it off me. He made it seem like it was worth some money and gave me his card , is it? Like I said it just came from a old Vetter faring (Bought new I think)

Here's some pics of it  just says T3 on the top , GUIDE 2nd line, MOTORCYCLE 3rd line.

Let me know what you get for $$$$. I have a couple of those.

I missed your bike.........I was in the show building on Friday.  I don't know much about 350s but I keep all of the Stanley lights I find..........even if they don't work they will pass for AMCA judging.

The light was in the 750, but it was previously in the faring that was on the 350 a few years ago. 750s have a 7 inch bulb where 350 twins have a smaller headlight. Might even be a little bulb inside of the headlight? Never had to mess with it.

Ya I dropped the bikes off in the building Sat afternoon. But I rode the 750 out to the swap meet on late Friday afternoon and parked in front of judging building, then when started sprinkling I got worried and parked it under a building on east side of the grounds.
