cb550f 1977 problem
« on: September 17, 2010, 09:08:01 AM »
Hi
Im just sorting up this bike for a friend...
I put a new carb kit(main, slow and o-ring) and bike start easy..
But if i raise idle speed little and i rev bike...bike dont go to idle easy..if i turn out idlle screw it goes to idlle easy and fast..
But i thing that the problem is exsaust pipe number 1..cause is damage and there is not enough space for air to pass..also it has a big hole..
P.S. those carbs that i rebuilt and put on 550f i had them on my cb500 and there working ok..i also synch the carbs.
I thing problem is the exsaust pipe...did someone had the same problem?

Thanks

More like an air leak between the carbs and head
