I'm in a very good mood. Swapped an old BMW R60/5 for a cherry 550.  Looking forward to learning alot here.

Yes.  My first evening ride out to the country. It'd had blown a fuse and I wanted to check the new one (only 14A rated) could handle at least the low beam being on. Testing the high beam today. Other than that it seems like it's in really fantastic shape, and definitely looks good.

blown fuses are a pretty popular topic with theses bike, with mine it has always came down to a loose wire where it solders to the fuse clip.

If it happens again quickly check the fuse box and see it's warm

More on the way!

I'll be checking all my connections over the next few days. Problem seems not to have come back so far.
