How does one gain "Karma" in this place?  Do I have to treat you to bouncing boobies or something?

Stingray, (Please don't take this personally...)

If you are even slightly suggesting that a certain, particular member on here, who shall remain nameless, gained karma by his use of his sexually themed, erotic, beautiful, hot little, avatar... Then I must warn you, that you are risking the loss of the one karma point that you have. To even suggest that any member of this board would stoop to such levels is heresy! Do not believe that for one minute any coveted member of this forum would so frivolously dole out karma on something such as you suggest!

Aghhhhh! I can not even continue on with this post! The disgust that the topic brings to my mind is nearly unbearable!

Have a nice day!  :)

Karma  comes  to  those  who  wait  (and sometimes)  wait  &  wait  &

Took me a while to get 3. It would be nice to have more but, I get a heck of a lot of info &
ideas and if I pick up some karma once and a while, that's cool. Later on, Bill

The Law of Karma - "For every event that occurs, there will follow another event whose existence was caused by the first, and this second event will be pleasant or unpleasant according as its cause was skillful or unskillful."

Therefore...

"A skillful event is one that is not accompanied by craving, resistance, delusions, sniveling for karma, hoping for karma, trying to lease karma, wanting karma, or pissing and moaning about not having karma."

Furthermore...
"an unskillful event is one that is accompanied by any one of those things."

I must now resume my meditation...

stingray,
Let it go. Enjoy the forum, participate as you feel the need and the Karma should come.
Your focus should be on what you can get from the forums and what you can contribute. Don't
you see? The main idea behind this site is for us to share ideas,(when asked) share opinions and
learn from others. Think about it, if we relax and enjoy the site, our time should come.

EG - it's a reference to the movie "Karate Kid" from the 1980's... old Mr. Miagi called his pupil "grasshopper" as a term of endearment.

David Carradine in Kung Foo was referred to as "Grass Hopper" by his Master. Just thought I
would clarify that. My spelling my not be very good at times but at least I got my point across.
