Hi. I am an Englishman living here in Mission Viejo. Growing up in London in the 1980's we raced around on our 2 strokes Water cooled Yamaha RD's etc. My first road bike was my 84 Yamaha RD50MX, I tricked it out with a Melossi kit and Micron pipe, Boysen reeds etc.
It was the fastest 50cc in East London at 70mph....that was in 84. I have had other bikes since.
Anyway just finished building my solar powered used vegetable oil refinery in the garage for our 1985 Mercedes 300D.
Ok so my next project I decided on a Honda CB750 and buiding a cafe racer. I have always wanted to build I bike and this seems a challenge that will be blood sweat and tears but doable.
I found this bike on Craig's list ita a 1976 CB750F supersport
http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/mcy/1880867247.html....The charity told me it was going to be junked on Friday or take it for $200 with title, good frame, motor and transmission.
So its in the garage and being stripped down...also the wife is helping me.
I would of preffered a K model but beggers cant be choosers as my nan would say....anyway just wanted to introduce myself and show how deep I'm in!
