Nathan,

I checked a couple of tensioner parts numbers for a K-5 (not sure what model you have).  Looks like Western Hills Honda has everything you need in stock.

allright I have a complete cam chain tensioner. I have two pieces of new cam chain that I had previously bought and cut to short for this bike and recently put back together.  Now I have this question, My honda dealer said that the cam chain for the cl175 should be 82 links, so that means I should cut it 81 links + 1 for the master link right because the chain is supposed to be endless?
thanks,
Nathan

before i cut,if possible loop it around and let the two ends meet and then mark the chain and then cut.

allright sorry for all of the questions, but I have one more.  I had the crank on the T mark and I had the cam with the little O pointing up and I installed the cam chain.  After I put the connecting link in I unscrewed the the plunger on the tensioner to let it take up the slack. When I put a wrench on the crank and turned it, there was still a little slack in the chain on the other side. So the crank started turning but the cam didn't for a second or two which put it out of time. I am almost positive I have the chain cut the right length. What am I doing wrong?
thanks again,
Nathan
