How long should a JT set last on a 750K?

I know, "it depends". Assume a new chain & sprockets installed together with a decent lube and cleaning regimen and only occasional flogging. Mostly dry weather.

   I've always been from the if the chain needs to be replaced then the sprockets do too school of thought. Putting a new chain on worn...even slightly worn sprockets, will decrease chain life. So, to answer your question...the life expectancy for sprockets is the same as the chain.

I would be pissed if I gotinder 20K with a decent non o-ring chain and used gearlube on it.. even if I did a few burnouts..

 FWIW, I bought a "bike chain" for under 20 bux in Utah last year.. even got change back...   Figured it would get me the 1200 or so miles home... back sprocket is quite worn..
 Well its still on there today, lubed and tightened it, first time in abouta month.. its  to about the 4th adjuster mark.. about 1/2 gone.... about 50 weeks of daily riding..
