Regulator/Rectifier for a 1975 CB550 and shorai battery
« on: July 22, 2012, 04:18:20 PM »
Is anyone running a shorai battery on their CB550 with a regulator rectifier combo?  I have the  Oregon regulator rectifier and it does not seem to charge at idle.  Is anyone having a similar problem or is there another regulator rectifier combo I will have more success with?

CB550s don't charge at idle. Try checking the voltage at the battery at 3000 RPM. ;)
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!
