Uncle Ernie's Blues
« on: September 27, 2010, 04:30:51 PM »

You'd be so nice to come home to.
You'd be so nice by the fire.
When the breeze up on high sings a lullaby,
You can harmonize with a sigh ~

That's an axolotl.

Then it should have the little ring extending all the way round its head...if its the Mexican variety you had in mind...not to be picky or anything ;)

You'd think a photographic rending would include those details...

I know what they look like, I've raised hundreds, maybe thousands of them.  I got to where I was getting a good percentage of white ones (not albino).   The last bunch got some bad worms, they got infected, and I couldn't save them.  Very sad.  That's why they're included in the picture.

I really like the composition. It reminded of  parts from a plastic model kit with runners.  You should do more of them Uncle Ernie. I have a master's degree in fine art, I should know what I am talking about...

  Sorry for your axolotls.

I'm sorry as well, I looked them up and they look really cool, kind of like your drawing!
Hope the blues part of your title doesn't hang around too long,
Ben

There's an older drqwing in there- I don't seem to have it in Photobucket...
Still one of my favorites.  I just like to noodle.

I drew the one in the biginning just to occupy myself.  I had to figure out for meself that my alleged wife got a better off.  (we had a moment, and I'm in love with another man)
"Moment" my ass.  No offense to Bill, but I'm wondering if this all would be easier if she just died in a car crash or something.  One of us is still in love.

The other thing is a '46 Chief with a Bonneville lump.  Didn't know what I had...
