did a search and looked at some exploded diagrams but can't figure out how to take the center rod out of the master cylinder on my 78cb750f. very rusty, no snap ring, all i see is a center disc. rod is loose/sloppy. as the unit may/may not be completely toast, i wanted to disassemble before ordering a rebuild kit. many thx,

after some soaking and scarping, found the remains of the snap ring. think the m/c is toast.
