removing clutch on 750. tool for lock-nut?

i'm in the process of removing my clutch basket. i have the lifter plate removed, but can't get past the lock-nut. should it come out easy? do i need a special tool?

I was just pulling my clutch today and ran into the clutch hub nut. Thought about the hammer and drift, or making a tool out of a 7/8 ths socket. In the end I found a motion pro socket on eBay for $16.80 shipped. Found it for $8 on costplustools.com but their website is jacked up and could  never get to the checkout screen. Plus they are in Georgia, eBay guy is closer, Michigan. Making the tool is pretty easy but I have more money than time these days...not to mention the newborn and the two yr old buzzing around....

That's what I have.  Also works on the centrifugal oil filter nut on CB350 twins :)
