I've been going through some old pictures and thought some of you might enjoy this bike.  A friend brought it home from the Mid Ohio swap meet a couple of years ago and I traded him a 150 Dream for it--just to have it around the garage for a while.  Sold it later.

Its bacically a R5 Yamaha with a modified RD400 motor, some aftermarket parts and YELLOW paint.

Never did get the front brake to work properly.

 :P  just when i was getting over the "fact" that glenn may never will me his rd400... you had to go and rub it in!

Nice looking stroker.Kind of reminds me of my first street bike a 75 rd350.Those were the days.I am still kicking myself in the ass for selling that rd.

              Good looking Yamaha,shame it wasn't painted a color that would stand out! Actually, I don't think you'd notice if it was a cloudy day. I've got a 73' RD350 myself. Got to do a little work on it but, they are pretty good little screamers. Only thing is, I've had alot of dealing with 2 strokes (and they've got their good points) but, I'm hung up on hearing a good running 4 stroke (especially 2 & 4 cylinder Hondas) with a nice exhaust system going through the gears. I do like to mess up people's minds with a screaming 2 stroke once in a while. Later on, Bill :D

I had a Kawa 350 tripple for several years and loved to run it up in the canyons.  Great fun to scream past a group of "certain riders" uphill on a winding road.    ;D

Too old for that now, of course.   ;)
