Topic: signal Problems

   Am Rebuilding an Honda 1981 650 c custom the signals don't work tho when I turn them on the oppisite of the direction i SWITCH go's out and the other stays lit.  no flashing no sound.  Could it be the signal relay switch. and if so does anyone know where I can get one to put on? got clymer workshop book ordered but was just wondering where on the bike the relay is located I know the book will tell but just kinda ancious to find out.  Oh Yea the rear signals don't seem to work but the tail light and break light does.

Have you checked your flasher?  Is the battery fully charged?  Trace the wires; clean all of the wire connections and the switch.  If it still doesn't work, replace the flasher.  Go to an auto parts store and look for a solid state flasher that will fit OK - check the greenspun archives since someone may have posted the part number for something that will work.
