I could not agree more! building it yourself will bring you so much personal satisfaction, not only when you are done but getting to build it is enjoyable too! And I totally understand about changing your mind through the process! I am constantly changing things up on every build I do!

Well after a year break due to house repair to get on market followed by failed listing...then more repairs and relisting and finally selling and moving.

I am finally getting back into this and boy am I glad!!!

Took the frame to the powder coater today.  Frame, swing arm, battery box..etc.  All getting shiny black after blasting.  After I spoke with the guy I have decided I am going to take some more parts to them on Tuesday as I thought some things could not be powder coated

Glad to be back!!

Well...suck... >:(

I was cutting off the lower triple clamp bearing race and nicked the steering stem about .040" deep. DAMMIT!!

These things are like hens teeth as well.  Not a one on fleebay!  :'(

Frank, Nice work! Don't forget to pull the oil passage restrictors going to the cam towers. They should be cleaned out and new o-rings installed.

Got my parts from the powder coater today  ;D

They look awesome..better than expected.

Super Wet Black is the color.

A few pictures in the garage.  Will get better pictures during the day.

Did not notice the dust till in the pictures.  :-X

Yea nerves a little on edge after this step is done..not sure why...I think its excitement coupled with nervousness of screwing it up.
