oldbiker, You and my Dad could probably share some pretty good stories and experiences. He's 80 (will be 81 in July) and, at this point, I don't know exactly when he (and my Granddad) started dealing with motorcycles. I just know that they had An Indian dealership and kept going until 68'
when my Granddad passed away. They had a variety of franchises through the years. Names like: Royal Enfield, Norton, AJS, BSA, Parilla, Jawa, ESO and CZ. He was away from motorcycles for quite a few years, until last year. He showed interest in my "project bikes" and so, I took a 76' CB400F down to him to work on and the next thing I know, He's bought a 78' CB750A and his attention is mostly on that. Now he's picked up on a 79' CB750K and doing some parts changing between the two. I know that the 78' is a sohc and the 79' is a dohc but, my Dad gets an idea and does whatever it take to accomplish it. Anyway, like you, he has some pretty good history behind him. I hope to be able to put his experiences down in writing while I can. Later on, Bill
