I wonder what kind of pressure is generated within the brake system under stress, and would this type of fitting be up to the task?

"Fittings" that
MIKEB4 used are really nothing more than a hose clamp that looks like a
AN fitting. For the oil lines, this is great to hold the pieces togther, and give a nice, overall finished look. These WILL NOT work with a brake application, or anything involving decent to high pressure.

4 AN hose and fittings, for brake setups. It is basically what you see in the Goodridge " Wall of brakes" at most V-Twin shops. That is made for brake applications, and able to withstand the pressure that the master is putting out.
Sorry for the long post, but I just wanted to let people know this wont work. We had a customer at my last shop who did this , without asking anyone, and had a fatal brake failure because of it. The "Fitting" at the caliper popped off under a hard brake lever squeeze, and that was the end of it for him..
