What would you want from Ontario based get togethers

A couple of nice rides, an occational informal meeting place and a sense of comraderie.
A little more organized, a few rides, a rally, an informal meeting place and a sense of comraderie.
Well organized, several regional rides, a couple of group rides , a national ride, informal  meeting places and to feel part of a dedicated group.
Im up for an occational ride and will try to make it to a rally.
I am too busy to commit but will join in whenever possible.

HeadNut. Call call Dalton-timmis again and ask for Karryan Amaral. Tell her you are a friend of Ryan Borges(thats me) and you heard she has great prices on Motorcycle Insurance bla bla bla and perhaps she can wave the bullsh$t. I have known her personally for a few years, great girl. Its worth a shot.

Good Luck
Ryan.

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about the Mosport get together..........I sent in my e-mail info but have not seen or heard anything ............Still not sure if I'm going as I might be riding a Gl650i this summer...

Mospprt is only 20 min north of me so I could possibly just swap plates, and run the back roads.........

Thanks a Lot Ryan!  I sent her an email...and we'll see what she sais.   I'm pretty sure her hands will be tied though... as Dalton cannot accept anybody with a cancellation within the past 6 years  (I'm just over 3 this summer)

Yep...I'm still searching for a company that does older bikes and only has a 3 year grace requirement..... hmmmm

Thanks again Ryan!!
I'll let ya know how it works out.

For those of you who aren't sure, try this test and see for yourself.  If you can't answer many of the questions or don't understand them - don't worry!  Just be thankful that you're not one of them.  ;D ;D :P ;D ;D

Hi,

I am a rookie to the fullest extent. Never changed oil or anything. Located in Mississauga, Ontario. L5M 7N9. In october 2009 I bought a complete and stock 1976 CB550F. Since then I have been following forms, reading manuals, tinkering here and there. I have partially rebuilt the carbs, fixed some electrical issues, and a number of other things. I have also had a great mechanic come over on a number of occasions to clean some things up and show me some stuff ( very helpful ). Tony De Vera from kick start cycles. However, he is not as available as I would like him to be. So.....

basically i am looking for someone who is familiar with these bikes and can help me with the carbs, starter, electrical, and get it to idle. I can pay you in beer, good company, and possible actual money, lol. I can email you some photos of the current situation.

If you are interested, or know of someone who may be, please let me know.

thanks

I live a little too far away otherwise I would certainly help out, Im sure others will step forward though and help you get sorted. May I suggest  that if you dont get a result from this post that you make a seperate post here in Canada section asking the same.
