I am glad you have it worked out.  Those poor guys have gone through a lot.  Thought you might find it an interesting read though.  And maybe see something interesting.   ;)

That was the first and only place I have heard and read about that until your thread.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Does anybody know if the CB750/CBX/CX500 alignment dowels will work on the '79 CB650?

Click --> Cheap Regulator/Rectifier for any of Honda's 3-phase charging systems (all SOHC4's).
