I got the idea from watching "Horsepower TV". I used to have a 66 Mustang years ago and they were advertising replacement LED headlights for it.  I figured that they weren't the company making them so I made a trip to AutoZone to double check fitment of a 7' inch Mustang headlight in my headlight bucket then hunted down the company producing them.

It's a BCR tank and an Air-Streamlining Tech fairing.

Awesome, love it.

Yes! Love it. I too own an EG6; no swap as I used to run a single cam turbo set up until about 2004. Now shes my daily beater, one day she'll be an even bigger beast than before. :) Nice to see someone else with a vintage CB and Civic hatch combo too. My brother has that same set up as you in his 91 CRX, that thing pulls as I'm sure your does too! Ride safe and congrats on a sick looking CB.

Cool - the site says it draws 2.5a on low beam, and 4.5a on high... Watt = Volts * Amps (I hope), so it only draws 30w at low, and 54 watts on high. I'm looking to minimize power draw on my build - that looks like a good way to do it! Thanks for the info man.

No problem.  I'd hope a lot of people would think about getting it.  It's really bright and I believe it makes you almost impossible to miss.

Thanks! Here in Southern California they have a huge Honda meet put on by Eibach and I was hoping to attend with the bike.  It would be nice to see some others from that scene make there way to this forum to see how a real community acts and supports each other.

The one in Corona/Riverside? Off the 91 freeway? I've stopped by that one before to check it out. It's sad to say but it's true about other forums. This forum is very friendly and informative, even when folks disagree; they agree to disagree and thats that. No poop talking or peacocking needed. Your bike would be a hit I think. Maybe when it comes around again I'll ride mine over too. She's not as pretty as yours but it's all good.

Or for a fraction of the price and a constant 35W output, you could install an HID.

True. HID would have been cheaper.  But I wanted it to match up with the LED taillight I was going to use.

Thanks again for all the compliments  ;D Sorry about the delay getting back to everyone...it was just a really busy weekend.

It's beautiful!! Did you have to make any "adjustments" to that BCR tank? been hearin rumors....

Overall I'm happy.  I didn't have to do any body work. It holds fuel.  I did have to purchase my own petcock and fuel cap which added to the price but that would pretty much go for just about every tank.  However, I didn't realize the sealing (and resealing) of the fiberglass tank was going to be an issue.  So if I was going to recommend anything it would be to just get a steel tank so that you'd never have do deal with those issues.

Nice bike :) :)

How much for the headlight?

$300 after shipping.  Expensive but I think it was worth it.

They handle like s*&t!  They really look the part but they're an old design for a reason.  On the street they handle fine (pavement).  Many of the freeways here are rain grooved.  So at about 55-60mph it develops a speed wobble that doesn't disappear till the road surface changes.

#$%*IN !
Thanks!

That is a really old tread pattern as well, you won't see any modern tyres with a tread pattern like that because they are prone totracking like mentioned with the rain grooves....

That they do!  A lot of people in SoCal can't drive to save their lives...so you can image how many more accidents there might be if they didn't exist.

I was hoping they may have made a rubber miracle cure with them..

Great work.  You have some real skills.

Where did you get the shortened clutch and throtle cables?  They look to be the perfect length.

The headlight was worth it, really makes a unique look.
