The trick is to prepare your tobacco first, roughly sort the tobacco on the paper so it is almost uniformed in the paper and then its just a roll up , back, up, lick and seal.... ;)  I once new an old guy that could roll with his left hand while riding a horse.....we have it easy.... ;D

Mick

Was he part Mohawk?  I worked with a guy who was part indian and that was his favourite trick, did it with his right hand though.

+1 on learning to roll the your self.  IF you are going to start the habit, at least do it like a man!  ;)

It doesn't take long to learn and once you learn, you can roll cigarettes while driving a 25000 lb bus full of hippies with your hair on fire with ten hits of acid on your pocket.  (it is a stepping stone, son)

Yes zig-zag papers for me it was Players fine cut or Export and Vogue papers, Zig-Zag were too fine and ripped when you were doing points Vogue on the other hand miked out at a thou and half and were just right for doing the points on your bike turn it until the paper just started to pull and you were timed to within a degree of proper firing point, so a road trip consisted of various tools (tire irons vice grips with cutter, wrench's, screwdrivers, tire patches, etc) and Vogue papers. It got so that when I was fixing bikes I could get to within 1/2 a degree most of the time and some times right on according to the timing light ( yes a shameless boast).

Hi,

Rolling your own cigarettes is just something you have to learn in the Netherlands, just like talking and riding bikes.
How do you think we get rid of this ?

just go buy the cheapest crappiest rolling tobacco you can fine, bugler comes to mind... a couple packs of orange zig zags, and get practicing! the white "cut corners" zags help if you are really a beginner. after that bali shag is some fine tobaky.
i won a rolling contest a couple years ago hear in golden gate park, speed and quality of smoke (no runs) the "creativity" winner taught me how to roll a "tulip". great if your trying to impress a stoner chick, still cant get the helicopter down though...
