Topic: altering a leather jacket?

has anyone had any luck getting their leather jacket tailored(like a suit coat)?

my dad gave me his motorcycle jacket and I would love to wear it, but its a little short in the waist. maybe 2 inches too short.
its a really nice jacket though, and well worn, plus it was my dad's

I would consult a stylist…they would know a cut person and the jacket could fit if he/she done some good work….. most important thing is don’t get a clash with your bike.
