Compatible Crankshafts

anyone here know if you can replace a 82 CB650 crankshaft with a  82 650 nighthawk crank?
and if so, what other changes are required/recommended?

I think the only difference is the Nighthawk engine is painted black. Don't believe the crankshaft would care.

i had read in another thread that the nighthawk was not compatible??
would there be any benefits, performance wise?

83 Nighthawk is DOHC, 82 is SOHC so it should be same as Standart or Custom 650.
