Topic: 75' CB200 Headlight issue

I've purchased a 75' cb200T and the headlight wasn't working during the sale. Previous owner said just to replace the headlight. So I purchased a new light but it won't turn on. The new head light has 3 colored wires, Blue, White, and Green. When I connect the wires from the new head light to my bike, the light does not turn on.

I've checked every connector to make sure there are no loose connections. Also checked the switch on the handlebars, all looked fine. During diagnosis I have found one weird issue. When I turn on the brights, the brights indicator lamp turns on when the new headlight unit is UN plugged. When I plug in the blue and white wire from the new headlight, the brights indicator lamp stays on.

As soon as I connect the green wire from the new headlight into the connector, the brights indicator light turns off.

You need to check what the 3 colours actualy go to, just 'cos they are the same colours as the Honda one dont mean they attach to the light the same

best bet would be to get a manual with colored wiring diagrams. or find one online. maybe oem parts diagrams from a place like bike bandit could help...

my first bike ever was a 75 cb200. and I've had 2 since. great lil bike.
