Hey guys, I think my thread title correctly correctly describes what I am going for. I started working on it almost two years ago but after moving and not having a garage the project has been put up for a long time. Fast forward to today and I now have the time, but not really the funds to get it running so hence the super broke build part. Theyre will be a few things I purchase for this, but it is going to be more bare bones than anything else.
First what I started with, this is my 74 and the picture from the craigslist ad. It did not come with the shoes, but it did come with a 77 750 roller with a seized motor I got to use parts from. I stripped it and am using the longer swingarm from the 77 and the front end (dual disc). I am also using the 16" rear wheel from the 74.
This is pretty much how it sits right now, I am wrapping the exhuast this week and switching the bars out. I thought I wanted apes a couple years ago, but have since changed my mind and will be using some small z bars as well. Thats about it for now, just wanted to share my first build (and first real motorcycle ive had) My last bike was a ct70 when I was 13 so I will be taking the safety course soon enough.
