They were saying that he'll be riding for Honda next year.
Should be interesting.

The race have not been aired in the US, yet

You should not put that in subject.

Thanks for spoiling it for us.  >:(

Eh, its still worth watching. The outcome is only part of the excitement of MotoGP, IMO. Seems like the Ducatis have been getting better throughout the season. Glad Stoner is still working hard for them, knowing he'll be working for Honda next year. He should do well on the Honda. And isn't Valentino Rossi going to Ducati from Yamaha? Should be cool to see what he can do with the Duc. Excited to see the race!

Ok, everyone should have seen it now. Just watched it, myself. What a battle for 3rd! I am impressed every race at the trust those guys have in each other's riding ability! I mean, your in a corner, going fast, and you are dang near leaning on another guy's fairing? Holy crap. Very impressive riding from those guys this season!

Hey Mick, did you ride down? They were lucky they didn't get any rain on race day, it pisssed down just about all weekend! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Well considering that about 90% of the content on here is American i say ....Tough luck..... ;D

It was a great race to watch, Stoner is in great form at the moment and it will be interesting to see how he goes next year on the Honda.
Did you go out for a look Terry.....Tent city would have been a quagmire ..... ;)

No mate, I stayed here in Darwin and it was as wet as buggery with the Wet Season on it's way now.
I took the CB1100 out for a few good blasts on Sunday in between down pours but kept the esky full of ice and stubbies right next to my favourite lounge chair while the racing was on.  ;D
The kids and missus were complaining that they couldn't find the remote control for the tele when the racing was on.
Funny, I just couldn't remember where I'd put it. ;D

Actually that race was live in the US on saturday evening on speed channel. Kind of cool to watch a Sunday race on Saturday. Phillip island has always been awesome to watch. I have a poster of Colin Edwards there on the superbike.

I was clocked at 132 MPH on my BMW R100RS in 1993, and showered the pack with sparks from my centre stand in every corner, geez it was fun! ;D

Just got back from the Island - what can you say, friggin awesome.
Knee deep mud, howling gales, pouring rain - but race day fine and mostly sunny.
And Stoner - he was sensational. Seeing him power sliding at 250kph through Southern Loop, tyre smoking, big black lines - the crowd was going wild. RESPECT.
I even got to high five Lorenzo during our pit walk - I felt 17 again.

I was hoping that Hayden would beat Rossi for 3rd - I got a bit over Rossi while there, I think it's the single minded blinded fans that get to me. And he was not friendly at all during the pit walk - very aloof. Lorenzo on the other hand, normally seen as the aloof one, was very gracious and friendly. I guess you can be when world champ, but Rossi's attitude was disappointing. Even JB seemed cold and unfriendly.

Nothing sounds like the start of a motogp race - our seats were on the start line, and when the red lights went out, the ground shook, my fillings rattled, my spine chilled, and you can't help but punch the air and yell like a lunatic.

Accommodation is booked again for next year, and with Stoner on Honda........can't wait.
Also going to superbikes in Feb.

Yes Mick, if you ever get a sniff of a chance, do yourself the favour. It's a great atmosphere too - lots of very pissed people, but no agro, babes (FTT, fake tans and tits, being the fashion), celebs, expos, oh, and racing. Man those things are quick - the speed off Turn 12 onto the straight is frightening, and the really quick guys (well, lets face it they are ALL quick) don't have the bike back up to vertical until past their pit boxes, which to mere mortals like us is nearly 1/2 way down the straight!
And the noise - anywhere within 100m of the Pramac Ducatis results in bleeding ear drums. Bliss.
And the Moto2 guys don't muck around either, man they rev those things to within inches of their lives. Says heaps for the engineering, particularly when it's rare to see mechanical failure - good old Honda.
And seeing 3 world champs on the podium at once is a bit special.
I could go on for hours.

The mrs is hooked, which helps, and is ecouraging me to go the supers.

Forgot to mention, several of the pit girls and Stoner's mrs asked me for my number.....oh, ok, they didn't.
Cheers.
