Head Gasket sealant?
« on: March 10, 2006, 03:18:44 PM »
I thought I did a good job of sealing things up when I assembled my 350f motor, but sure 'nuff I got a leak by the oil passage on the right side of the head. Bad enough that I'm going to take it down to fix it. I've never used any type of sealant on any head gasket I've ever done. Is there something I can use to insure a good seal? I plan on checking flatness of the head and cylinder block, but I'd just as soon not have to do this again.

Graphite gasket and O rings genuine Honda parts…good torque arm and you don’t get leaks…well I’ve never worked on a bike that did after a short time, using the Honda parts…… 400’s almost the 350  ;)
