CB650 Standard and Custom Forks Interchangable?

Just wondering if I could take the forks, wheel, and brakes off an '81 CB650 Custom and stick them on a Standard? My forks are gooey and brakes are horrid.

Yes they are but the forks on a custom are taller and give more of a cruiser type of look. Also, you will have to use the speedometer cable from the custom set since the standard will be too short.

The fork diameters are the same but you cant use the dual disks with out changing the triple tree. You could use the single but then have empty bosses for the second disk.
