Anyone try a Rebel wheel swap?
« on: October 19, 2010, 12:33:51 PM »
Has anyone attempted a Rebel wheel swap?

I'm interested in a basket case 350F and trying to find a low budge wheel upgrade. I noticed that the Rebel 250 has an 18" spoked front with single disc and a spoke rear with drum brake (but only 15", not really good).  I just put new tubes on my nice 350F and those wheels are heavy bricks so there must be something out there thats not > $1,000 custom wheels.  Dirtbike wheels seemed interesting, but hard to find in 18" or 17".

I did search with various cominations of the following key words for general ideas: cb350f, cb400f, 350f, 400f, tubeless, wheels, upgrade, modern.  I was hoping to find something other than Lesters, but did not find anything for a 350/400F, let alone on Rebel wheels:
