I have a 550F Super Sport header that I plan to run on my CB500. It's the factory 4-1 header. I have an old Jardine muffler for it. I'll bead blast it and see how it turns out, but I was looking around for some reverse cone style mufflers to fit the collector and everything is too small. I think the Dunstall or megaphone type muffler in chrome would look nice.
The Jardine has a 2 5/16" I.D. What is available out there for a large collector?
Barring that, rather than use flat or satin black exhaust paint, is there a textured paint I can use (in black) for the muffler? Something like on the modern Triumph or Nightster style engine cases?
