I think it is not so much funny as sad. The joke is really on all of us.
These petition signers are the same people that vote our government officials into office and allow them to pass laws that they don't understand. In fact, the same tactics as the above petition proponents used to get those signatures, are the same tactics used by union promoters, government officials, and lobby groups to rally support for their cause.
These petition signers are also by and large educated by the government and the entertainment industry, btw.
The same tactic used in the petition to ban water, is the exact same method nuclear power was "banned" in the US, which forced our path toward oil dependency, which spawned the "global warming" hoax, and is further leading us into economic slavery.
Also, the video is a testament as to why a pure democracy fails. There is no equation of the popular vote to the correct vote when the voters are unskilled and untrained on the vote topic/purpose.
Isn't it interesting that we get meaningful thought and observance from entertainment comedians?
