Probably not at all cheap, but still good value, personally I think Campags were the best wheels of that era.

Well if they are going to do Morris, they better be wide..

 Not quite clear if they would be Mag-alloy, or Al-alloy.
 I dont care it they are only partly machined, anyone got an idea of price..??.. my guess is 5-700 bux..

Try 1200 to 1500 Frank.....They are magnesium alloy {the kind that goes to #$%* if not coated} I would really like a set of the 5 spoke campagnolo replica's, 4.5 inch is the widest rim for an 18 inch wheel.....same with the Morris ones.

 The rears were no wider than a 750 stock rear, in fact, maybe even less..

 The fellow getting the widening done was trying to buy the 18 rear I got, bought new by his brother, but I did not want to sell.

 He got a NOS HD rear accessory Morris, and sent that to Kosman..

I think that price i quoted was for a pair not a single wheel so you were close..

I think my Morris wheels are both 2.15 wide: 19x2.15 front, 18x2.15 rear.

Thanks! It seems the translation might be something like: The price can be justified, even if the wheels are only for display, and a strong argument can be made as to their value in competition, due to the light weight and strength.
I was afraid they were saying the wheels were for looks only...

they are reworking the site and soon there will be more info.

in the meantime:

fronts are 2.15, 2.30, 2.50

rears 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5

without bearing/disc carriers (make you own ) 1600 euro per set
with their carriers (though the guy said they had only a few models for specific axle/discs combos) 1800 euro a set

forgot to ask if they are magnesium or forged ally, but at this price i guess they are aluminum

Thanks TG, most appreciated. Price sounds consistent as I found a Ducati site where someone bought a front wheel for €750. I suspect they are actually magnesium, as I didn't think Marvic ever made any ally wheels at all, however it would be interesting to know and personally I'd prefer it to be ally, I'd forgo the few ounces and the lack of originality in exchange for a longer lifespan & increased durability. I'll keep an eye on their website for the reworked info.

back then in them 70's-80's i'd guess? @ 100 a piece would grab a few right now....

Have got a set of Morris Ally wheels here at home, more than welcome to accept offers. 19"front and 18"rear. Have to check width but think not wider than oem. Freshly painted gold.
