Welcome, there are several of us here in the Nashville area. I am in Smyrna and work in Murfreesboro. There has been some talk on a local sportbike forum about getting a local vintage riders group going, several of us on there are also vintage bike fans and riders in addition to our "modern" rides.

Well there is not much talk of the vintage stuff yet, just a couple brief mentions of kicking around the idea. The forum is actually through the meetup.com website and is the Nashville Sportbike Group http://www.meetup.com/Nashville-Sportbike-Group/

It is mostly modern sport bike and sport touring riders. They have a few weekly standing runs that go on nearly year round. One on Saturday and one on Sunday leaving out of Uncle Pete's truck stop in Lebanon on the East side of town and the other out of Puckett's Grocery in Leiper's Fork on the West side. Most of them are pretty fast, some are stupid fast but it is a safe group. They have some slower or newer riders and make sure everyone knows to ride within their own comfort zone. There is always a sweep rider and they make frequent stops at intersections to let the back of the pack group back up.

Anyway there are a couple of guys there like me that have vintage bikes as well as new stuff and there has been an expressed interest in getting a vintage ride group going. I think with just a few and their potential contacts we could get a nice little group going.

PM me your contact info and I will send you mine as well. I can keep you in the loop if you have no desire to sign up on meet-up. Even if nothing  gets going with that group maybe we can get a local ride together with Spanner/Ray and Tugboat/Josh (when his ankle is repaired) who are also local.
