I just found this site a couple of days ago and wish I had found it sooner! My name is Travis and I first got bit by the motorcycle bug a few years ago. My dad's friend is big into old bikes and had a few stored in our garage. One was a kawi and the other a cb350. That bike got me into motorcycles. That summer my dad and I worked on that bike a lot. I got to ride it a bit and fell in love. Now I am on the search for a cb350f or a cb550 to do a mild cafe bike. I've been on this site for a couple of days and it seems that I've found the best site to help me in my search and build.

I'm downstate near Champaign. I haven't got a bike yet, but I am working on it.

Welcome aboard Travis. I will keep my eye's open for one for you. I travel thru there once and a while as my parents and sister and brother among others live in Carbondale so we get near your neck of the woods a fair amount.

I bought my first bike while I was a student in Champaign.  I love the open country roads once you leave the city.
